So this morning I was thinking of selling my beloved Gretsch because I needed a guitar that would do straight rock and roll, and the Gretsch is good for everything but that.
So I put it up here… prayed to God that I was doing the right thing, and felt a bit discouraged.
So I’m on a forum this afternoon and find this beauty…
which sells for $550-699 on ebay, upgraded like whoa, a straight up rock and roll machine (weird, I know. I’m like that)… and the guy wants $170 for it. He said he just felt like he should put it up, because he had $170 left to pay on another guitar he just bought and that’s all he needed.
Some people think God doesn’t work in “petty” ways like this, but I sure do. And I’m VERY thankful.
I’ve been thinking about it and I’m gonna see what kind of response I get from this.
About 8 months ago I sold all my guitars to buy a Gretsch I had been drooling over. I love it but I’m convinced that I need more than one type of guitar, so I want you to buy the Gretsch so I can have money for a Lea Paul style and a Tele style. Capiche?
